Mangaka Yamaji Hidenori revealed that he received two offers from overseas publishers to continue Marry Grave after its cancellation
Keep in mind that currently he is writing Soara and the Monster’s House, but who knows? Maybe in the future we can get a continuation.
I loved Marry Grave, really hope he does continue it eventually
Is this common? How likely would other authors want to continue past series in new publications, especially overseas ones? Is this a newer thing?
I found Marry Grave last year and was so disappointed when I got to the last chapter and learned it was canceled. I’d love to see it come back.
Wow, I wish a lot of potentially good axed manga gets to continue their works.
As much as I enjoyed it and it was apparent that it had potential, I wasn’t surprised that it got cancelled.
The MC was too careless and weak for the world he was in. If he had only one flaw from those two, I feel like it would’ve worked better. I know he was immortal so it made sense why he is like that. Doesn’t mean the author couldn’t have executed it better though.
I mean, when we saw his wife’s flashback, he looked really bland in comparison and that’s when the complaints about the MC increased.
I will need to see it to believe it but a little hope is always good
I still miss Marry Grave.. So much wasted potential.
I’ll cling to whatever little hope this brings me. Marry Grave honestly was so good. Yeah, it had flaws but most series do. I genuinely think the story could have evolved into something great with enough time.
It was a great wanderlust manga, was pretty sad when I heard it was ending. Could easily imagine it going for hundreds of chapters… maybe someday!
