  1. Wow….that is some cruel stuff. I know we are in hard times for small businesses but if the fiancé died before the wedding how is asking for a refund unreasonable?

  2. They are in the service industry where your own inflexibility will destroy your business. If they can’t be flexible with their no-refund policy for a timely reported DEATH, they shouldn’t be in the service industry. How many people would have been recommended/referred to them in the long run had their response to this grooms loss showed human concern over his loss rather than concern for the short term money?! Now it’s quite the opposite and their online brand presence is toast.

    Also, the refund would have cost them less than the costs of setting up their dumb website ranting about cancel culture.

  3. They double downed and made a website to “explain” why they were “right” to refuse the refund. Posted the dudes picture on it and everything.

    Apparently the shutdown though. The website is still up…
