I so don’t miss this aspect of shared custody. More than once my husband’s ex would text me saying “school called and said [stepkid] is still there, why didn’t you pick them up?” Only to have me reply with “because it’s your week”.
So, I guess all this miscommunication is why you’re all not together anymore. Because it’s just toxic all the way around with both ppl thinking they’re right.
Do right by your child, and hopefully it’ll be the good times you provide that they remember when they’re older.
