I don’t get what you’re saying. Yes Kizaru can hurt Marco, but his wounds just heal. That’s why there are blue flames around the wounds, because Marco is healing them right now.
The lasers are technically emissions from himself, so there’s no reason I can think of to explain why he can’t coat them in haki.
People need to understand that powerscaling is a pointless endeavour. Oda would change character strengths at a whim whenever he feels like.
Marineford is literally the worst example of powerscaling too. Admirals don’t go full power here for obvious reasons and this is before Haki was introduced, so we no nothing of character strengths and their full potential.
Kizaru was only able to hit marco because marco got distracted after whitebeard got hurt.
Marco receives damage, he just heals himself. The only attack he didn’t heal instantaneously was the Garps punch, he even had to put a bandage
Marco isn’t a Logia, is a Mythical Zoan, he takes damage, but he just tanks it and heals immediately. When he got cuffed that ability was taken away, so he wasn’t “Oh they can damage me”, he went “Oh, I’m about to die”.
What is this even supposed to show? Yea he obviously harmed him. Thats kind of the point of marcos fruit. He regenerates the damage…

I know it’s sake for the story, but the number of times that Kizaru caught someone off guard and could have killed is terrifying. Just one clean shot to the head.

I wouldn’t make definitive conclusions based on anything that happened there.
Yeah. He definitely takes damage. His ability is the flames of regeneration, not the flames if immortality. So he can take damage and then must activate his ability to heal himself.
Or I guess just keep the ability active. Then the damage is effectively negated since it instantly heals, which looks like a logia.
Marco can survive getting a sword stuck through his brain. As long as he can regenerate, wounds wont matter. They will just consume stamina
All admirals can use haki and cause damage to any type of fruit user. It was the same when Garp was able to punch and harm Marco. Marco can recover from any damage but depends on the amount of damage he takes
Kizaru power is ridiculous. I think Oda had to Nerf him because if he can really move at the speed of light he can show up to any fight in minutes or less and end it just as quick.
