Honestly MA arc has started bugging out people lately. There’s been an increase in people questioning “When will MA arc end” and as far as I know it took up 10+ Volumes on it’s own now.
well its cause only 1-2 vols are released every year, and OPM has been going for a long time so almost everyone has the previous vols who are fans of the series
In 2020 there was one single volume. A million sales that year is pretty good! What’s disappointing is that 2019’s anime season didn’t translate into better manga sales the way that 2015’s did. But you look at the lack of love it was made with and it’s not shocking.
I hope Murata can make more time to produce more volumes as that’s the only thing that actually pays the damn bills.
We only had one volume this year so far, of course the sales will decrease.
The volumes (the manga version that is actually sold) have been releasing slower and slower.
Its because
A: anime boosts sales we didn’t have an anime for a long time
B: volume release delay, volumes haven’t been releasing as often recently.
Side note: last year one volume only released I would say the sales are decent compared to last years since 3 volumes a year was the regular.
As many people have noticed, this is not sales per volume. Sales are lower because we get less new volumes.
The reason is because one and Murata don’t make many don’t make many chapters a year… if they did it would be huge
A million sales by volume is still too much, don’t be a clown
Yeah the series is in a weird spot, when the anime comes back I think the series will be in full swing
I guess people are waiting for MA arc to end before buying new volumes
less frequent chapter updates, almost no volumes per year and no anime adaptation, the fall is understandable

NO anime , NO sales

Because we have OPM… without OPM. Forgot the last time we saw Saitama.
