This picture made me realize how much team 7 pretty much changed Kakashi’s outlook on life. He seems waaaaay more positive about life and in his mannerisms after becoming their sensei
Always thought lore wise the whole idea of shinobi becoming chunin at silly young ages just seemed nonsensical even for a series like naruto, and yes I get its touching on the fact that they’re essentially child soldiers who are taught very young.
The Itachi dick riders goin ham today lol 💀in all honesty Kakashi is probably the most accomplished, but not the greatest shinobi. Naruto or Itachi have him beat there. Kakashi is still top 3 shinobi in history though. Managed to go through literally all the shinobi ranks, which no one else is confirmed to have done.
When I think of a peak Naruto ninja, Kakashi is always #1. The most professional, calm, calculating, ninja that falls back on his basics to subdue powerful enemies.
That’s one of my biggest complaints with Naruto is that ages. I’m sorry but Kishimoto has obviously never been around a 6 year old before for them to be a full fledged assassin soldier in charge of people. It sucks me out of it. Making even 10 makes it more believable
He is great but like most things answer is probably hashirama or naruto because of power and that basically they shape the idea of shenobi in their time. Like shenobi is more or less based on hashirama till naruto
Sasuke Uchiha: Became a Genin at 12, Still a Genin, Joined the Akatsuki, Created the Chidori variants, became a Sensei (to Boruto), saved the world (and held it hostage), and became Shadow Hokage. He also never died
I know the Hatake bloodline is no small deal due to Sakumo… but like, for a non-godlike/kekkei genkai bloodline Kakashi REALLY popped off (plus having someone like Minato around helped a lot i reckon)
Historically top tier but greatest shinobi would be imo…. not too sure but hashirama naruto madara or sasuke imo again its hashirama i dont count kurama naruto as naruto its an external factor but i respect everything else ur born with but id also say no kurama naruto cud beat hashirama his rasenshuriken cud beat almost anything if i remember it destroys chakra?im sorry this is so wishy washy im making this up as my mind comes up with it but kakashi is a god but not the best imo

Nah, Minato was the greatest Ninja alive. He was the best in the history of the academy. He created the Rasengan (superior to Chidori), mastered the Flying Thunder God Jutsu and even perfected, mastered Sumoning Jutsu, Sealing Jutsu, Sannin mode, saved Konoha all by himself and trained Kakashi… and became HOKAGE before he was 23. He was objectively superior to Kakashi.
Plus, kakashi only became Hokage because Tsunade never really wanted that position and despised paperwork. And I still think he is overrated. He still only won against Zabuza so 🤷🤷🤷
Well he’s Mr. Worldwide himself. Even a dead ninja god knew his name, and that was before he became Hokage. I would be surprised if a ninja alive doesn’t know him.
Kakashi was talented dont get me wrong, but remember that kakashi’s childhood was around a time when the ninja nations were at war. At that age, while naruto and gang were chasing cats, kakashi and his friends were blowing up bridges to stop supply convoys. Hes still really talented reaching jounin out of a pool of many other chunins.

There are far better “shinobis” than he was. Heck, every single missing nin, for starters, as it takes bigger balls to defect, stay alive, and set your own course.
Even though I have some qualms with Kakashi it goes without saying he’s one of the GOAT’s.
In terms of achievements/accomplishments, he is one of the best if you look at what you already have posted lol, and Obito’s gift to him helped him accelerate to a length that allowed him to be able to keep up with Might Guy after he broke past his limits and started getting absurdly powerful with his mastery of the Eight Inner Gates.
In the end Kakashi even without the eye is a top tier (not one of the god tiers obviously, lol) fighter and I would have been interested in seeing how far he could have gone if he trained the Eight Inner Gates like crazy alongside Might Guy considering that Kakashi’s ability to use Ninjutsu is extremely impressive even without the eye.
All things considered, I would say Might Guy and Minato are my personal picks for something like “Greatest Shinobi” because they didn’t really come from anywhere “special” or given anything that helped them reach what they were able to reach (like an eye power, or a tailed beast, etc..). Might Guy was simply THAT GUY and he trained hard as fuck on something that everyone has, the Eight Inner Gates, and became the GOAT. Minato is probably one of the most talented in the entire series considering the shit he was able to develop and utilize at such a high level.
Man had no special clans or any other advantages. Worked hard and gave his life to protect his son and his son’s squad.
He made his son the strongest of them all by teaching him the Gates which took him 20 damn years to master, but most importantly he raised his son right. When Ten Tails Madara came, no one could even hit him until Guy showed up and used his fathers legacy to protect everyone which he did succesfully and went beyond Hokage.
