No hate to Naruto, it gave me one of the most amazing moments like Pain, Madara fights, 6 Paths Sage Mode etc….but Naruto bar few moments feels to much like a kids show, whereas Boruto did have silly moments (fillers!) But it was still well balanced. Yet I don’t see the same in Naruto. Thoughts?

  1. Lol nice troll post. I’m guessing you’re modeling this post after the other one earlier.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Boruto/comments/t2qh3n/no_hate_to_boruto_it_gave_me_one_of_the_most/

However, I agree that comparing two episodes with each other to compare two shows is kind of flawed logic. I assume that’s the point you’re trying to make

  2. Boruto is like 75% filler content due to the whole 1 manga chapter a month and 4 anime episodes per month

Wouldn’t lead to that if the anime canon was important to the story but most of the anime only episodes don’t actually have any impact on the story because the core plot of boruto is being controlled by its manga which focuses exclusively on part of team 7

Naruto’s first 120ish episodes are almost entirely pure canon content that directly pushes the plot forward and all of the side genin introduced interact directly with the core plot in serious ways

Then a bunch of filler was added between naruto and shippuden which you can entirely skip.

Comparatively boruto starts chapter 11 of the manga in episode 140 roughly. The first 10 chapters are episodes like 50-65.

And of the 21 genin introduced in boruto. Only 6 have interacted directly with the core plot in a meaningful way and 3 of those 6 were team 10 who basically contributed nothing to the interaction. They were used as pawns

And everything else is anime only content or some naruto gaiden adaptations which are good but very brief and aren’t integrated well.

So yeah im saying you’re basically dead wrong.

Edit: i see now this is a parody of another post on the sub. My bad.

  3. These memes are stupid dumb lol. Do you know how easy it would be to show something epic happening in Naruto and then something dumb af happening in Boruto?

Besides, Naruto was waaaay darker than Boruto, it’s not even close. You’d have to be a true Boruto Stan not to see that.

  4. True but it’s all because of the history that followed the new show. Otherwise they would’ve had to start like a kids show. But in Boruto you have Naruto and Sasuke all grown up and strong as fuck so they need stronger enemies for Boruto unlike when in Naruto they were still kids

  5. Yup it is bad to compare different series on episode number, but this was a well made joke

But I do agree to the previous post boruto with its colourful colors and little to no progression aand level up due to karma of only 2 characters makes it feel like childrens shows

Athough this may be due to monthly manga

  6. you can do these comparisons both ways. I saw one that the boruto ep had inojin painting on one side and I think sasuke breaking that dude’s freaking arms in the other. it’s like poetry, it rhymes.

  7. The show is completely aimed at teenagers. Therefore it makes perfect sense to have goofy moments and have deadass serious ones.

It is a nice balance which makes it perfect for teenagers who are growing into adulthood (therefore being mature enough to enjoy those serious mature moments) yet still technically children (and still part of the teens personality that enjoys the immature silly episodes)

  8. This is super cherry picked. Even the canon moments of Boruto from anime original dialogue to the animation feel like a kids show.

Edit: I see this was in response to a different post, but my point stands

  9. Boruto seems to have nothing of value. No stakes, no good characters and the show seems to shit on all the original cast.

Naruto and Shippuden seems unbelievably balanced and consistent throughout. The Pein Arc remains to be the best yet.

  10. You see the point of the post was not to compare episode numbers. The episode numbers were merely a means to an end. They helped to portray his overall point that Boruto is more lighthearted whereas Naruto had more serious parts so far. That was his point. I don’t understand why people are latching on to the episode comparison because that wasn’t even the post’s point.

  11. This is the first time the roles have been reversed. It remember a meme where they compared episodes. One was when Inujin couldn’t draw anymore because he got lazy and the other was Sasuke ripping Zaku’s arms off mid-curse mark.
