I thought that the match will end as a draw but the writers really messed this fight up. All the more reason why some people have started disliking the style of kishimoto. The writers can’t even write proper fillers and expect people to watch them. What a shame
I mean I think it would be fun to see Boruto winning while knowing Mitsuki let him win but still going all out. We know Mitsuki could care less about making rank. See Boruto become chunin then hit the timeskip and see how everything comes down on him.
The issue for me at least isn’t so much the disqualification but the reason for said disqualification, being that side quest which is the most stupidest side plot reason for them being disqualified.
You’d think that after working to save someone from literally getting kidnapped, they’d have made an exception to keep them in. It wasn’t as if Boruto and Mitsuki were on a stroll or something, they were literally saving Amado. Not letting them be in the final round because of them going to save an important figure head for the village is just ridiculous.
