I find it kinda weird but naruto got his last name ‘Uzumaki’ becoz Minato didnt want every one to know Naruto was Minato’s son (though some people knew) and then I saw this CLAN RANKING video, I have seen quite a lot of them, shouldnt they consider Naruto a Namakaze then?
Being fair, we don’t know if the Namikaze are a clan. A last name doesn’t signify a clan. The Haruno aren’t a clan.
I mean he is also the son of Kushina Uzumaki. And it was never clarified (idt) that Naruto was a Namikaze before the incident

Honestly he shouldn’t have had a last name. Both are rather infamous and of Kishi thought ahead than people should’ve been trying to either kidnap or kill a stray Uzumaki.
