Boruto and Mitsky’s chunin exams got shitted on by a poorly written subplot. People might not like that wording, but it’s absolutely true. The only reason why they went on that goose chase that ended in less than 2 minutes was for them to miss the chunins – *and* miss Sarada’s fight.
