Honestly, I think I preferred him as Tobi. Not that there’s anything wrong with his Madara persona, I just have a soft spot for comedic characters and Tobi was easily one of the best.
Obito was a great character overall, definitely wasn’t one dimensional.
Tobi being Obito cracking under mental stress and pressure would have been the best way to show the character.
