The issue with this is that Pain is strong, like CRAZY strong. I think most people underrate him based on the Naruto fight. If Pain wanted SM Naruto dead he wouldn’t have lasted 2 minutes. Naruto had ALL the info and was fully prepped for fighting Pain, who had just used a lot of his chakra pool destroying the city. Despite all that, Naruto stood no chance and was forced into 9 tails mode, and then STILL almost lost to 1 (out of 6) pain paths.
I stand by my opinion that Pain can solo the current Boruto-verse (not including code+manga ppl, but definitely including current Naruto+Sasuke) with relative ease, he just has too much firepower.
