So now Mario is fired and has to take the long depressing bus ride home to tell Peach that they might need to sell the double wide even though she has become an abusive alcoholic ever since they got evicted from the castle. He knows Bowser still hits it and the divorce is inevitable, but the thought of a gold star and some loose change every once in a while gave him hope.
You can still be a grown up/adult and show interest in things like Mario. I personally haven’t played a Nintendo game in years since I’ve had a PS4 but I still like Classic mario games and things like that.
This isn’t completely wholesome. Just because you grow up doesn’t mean you have to give up things like Mario, it just means that you should also spend some more time on your own life.
