I think bigotry towards mutants/gods/aliens/superpowered people are going to be the main bad guy here. You can already get a feel for it from the show and it would be a great lead up into the X-Men story arcs.
Sam Wilson will have a new costume that is not the one he received in *The Falcon and the Winter Soldier*.
Would be excited if Wyatt Russel is somehow involved.
The song ‘World’ by New Order will be used extensively throughout the movie, often at inappropriate times.

Hulk Hogan knocks Sam out and drops an atomic leg drop on him. Writes nWo across his back and wings while he’s down for the count
I expect they’ll continue with the geopolitical themes they focussed on during FatWS. Maybe bring in some kind of post-Hydra group as a long term baddie.
I don’t know if the Secret Invasion plot will be resolved in the series or the Marvels, if not I could see the Skrull Invasion playing a part and perhaps set up the Thunderbolts ending the Skrull Invasion like in the comics. It will probably set up Val and the Thunderbolts aswell, I wouldn’t be surprised if whatever Val is up to is the actual New World Order. I would also like if Sinthia Schmidt plays a part, she could be the Red Skull to Sam’s Cap.
I theorize a group of people will over think the hell out of the title and boycott the movie

What if the events in this movie follow up to the thunderbolts?
I feel like Sam is gonna be responsible for pulling the new Avengers together. I feel like by the end of Phase 5, we’re gonna start to see a new team come together and the Thunderbolts are gonna try to fill that spot (and not succeed).
I think the senator guy did the exact opposite of Do Better.

We get introduced to the new core Avengers team in this movie even if just at the end. (Aka the new version of ‘The original 6’)

At first we’ll think Sting will join the New World Order but then surprise it was Hulk Hogan all along
My Theory is that it will somehow involve the thunderbolts or at least end in a way that sets up the thunderbolts to step up to be the new government run avengers-type thing.
Wishful thinking is that Sharon Carter is working with/for Arnim Zola. We know he can still be around. Id give him a new robot body like the comics. Maybe have it be an old Ironman armour (setting up armour wars) or a ultron robot. Seeming as in the comics hes worked with clones and experimented on memories that could explain sharon’s involvement. Another character that would be interesting is Sin. Who is meant to be the daughter of Red Skull but I think they could get away with her being a clone.
I think it’s possible Luke Cage will be in the film. The movie will explore, in part, the Weapons Plus program in the series with Isaiah Bradley.
In the comics, Luke Cage was also a member of the Weapons Plus program. The film might also include an Easter egg or two for another member of the Weapons Plus program…Weapon X.

Maybe Captain America gets stuck in alt universe where Hydra took over the U.S.A? I mean it’s called the multiverse saga and we don’t have that many upcoming multiverse movies, but I really don’t know what they’ll do with this movie. But I’m excited to see this new Cap get his own movie.
Can’t wait for the Wolfpack to show up. I wonder if Sting will parachute in at any point n
