If Cap had sat Tony down after winter soilder and told him “hey look so my friend from the 1940s was captured by hydra and brainwashed into being their assassin and they used him to kill your parents”
Tony would of probably been angry and mad But with time would of got to the point where he could accept bucky wasn’t to blame
Instead Steve kept it to himself and then acted like an asshole when Tony got mad that the person who killed his parents was right next to him and cap knew about it

The end of Infinity War and Civil war are both because Men with Super suits have tantrums like toddlers for a few minutes. The Snap and everything Baron Zemo does are because Peter and Tony are so emotionally unstable they can’t keep it together for a few minutes to think things through. Terrifying.
Winter Soldier Killed Tony’s folks in like 1989 while being completely brainwashed and Peter is just stunted AF. It feels like the kind of plot points you see in the Harry Potter stories. But those kids are like 10 years old at the time.

HISHE did a good job with the better ending
