Arcane and hawkeye in the same week probably helped
Arcane, Dickinson and Hawkeye all in a month is pretty nuts.
Also arcane just came out and she voices the main character glad to see It tho I love her performances
Probably a mix of that and her starring as Vi in Arcane.
I didn’t realize how insanely talented she was. She also has over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Arcane was proven to be a huge hit and shes also in that.
I’ve been waiting for her to become a major star since True Grit, and while she’s shown up in things here and there since then, this feels more like the beginning of the kind of attention I was expecting her career to get based on her performance in that movie.

I’d be interested to see if the MCU will use Mckenna Grace in a major role in the future since her star is quickly rising. The fact that she was already in Captain Marvel is irrelevant since the MCU has proven a few times they don’t mind re-using actors, especially ones who had small roles.
Coincidentally, she’s the main character in two of the most popular shows that are running right now: Hawkeye and Dickinson.
Was watching bumblebee on Hulu last week. Found out this week she’s in Hawkeye AND voices Vi in Arcane.

If you haven’t seen the *True Grit* remake you absolutely have to. Hailee is wonderful in it, but it is one of Jeff Bridges best performances. The original is a classic, and I’m usually against remaking classics, but this is one exception to the rule. Jeff Bridges and John Wayne were both nominated for academy awards for their portrayal of Rooster Cogburn, and I believe they are the only films to have 2 actors nominated for playing the same character.
Well, that makes sense because Hailee is amazing.

Man, I love her portrayal of Kate. Kate is so annoying, but endearingly (I hope this is thr correct workd, English is not my first language) charming, and she bounces well off Clint, especially ehen Clint loss his ear hearing aid
Well she’s completely lovely and likeable.
It helps that she just straight up has such a likeable personality and seems pretty decent in interviews. She’s easy to root for for sure.
Hawkeye is a lot of fun. I’m really enjoying this show, and it’s got a good tone for Christmas time.
I recognize three of these people counting Ms. Steinfeld.
I went into Hawkeye thinking “Great, it won’t be all about actual Hawkeye. Another torch passing sellout that’ll be just as effective as Cars 3”. In no time at all she won me over and I’m besotted. Her screen presence is just incredible.
Kate is an experienced badass and a total newbie, at the same time.
She’s overconfident yet completely humble, at the same time.
She’s a strong girl without a trace of arrogant swagger.
She effortlessly pulls off everything from comic timing to tear-jerking poignancy.
I’m loving seeing Clint be awesome AND seeing Kate flourish. THIS is what the Star Wars prequels should have been, not “old people should stand in one place and then die”. Their chemistry is perfect and the conflict between them is refreshingly mild, not the usual buddy cop clash. I’m just loving it.
TL;DR: just fanboy fawning.
She was amazing in True Grit. One of my favorite films.

Hailee Steinfeld seems like such a wonderful person in real life. Every time I’ve seen her act her character is so nice and sweet and I feel like that’s how she genuinely is. Also she’s super pretty!
I just need to see her do finger guns and then she will be perfect. It’s such a small thing but it’s like the frosting on the whole Kate Bishop cake.
Marvel really hit the jackpot with casting Hailee Steinfeld. And managed to get both her and Pugh in the MCU, great!
