Everyone saying the solution is release order and not just skipping post credit scenes. Most are teasers for the next soon-to-be released movie so don’t matter if you can watch them. Once you’re caught up just watch the post credits from the latest phase
There’s an extra sense of tension and ominous cloud around Natasha. I mean, it kinda ruins the Vormir suicide competition, but I never really found that scene to be all that great to begin with.
Like, if the Snap is reversed, Clint gets his family back. Of course it was gonna be Natasha!
This is why it’s always best to watch movies in release order. Yes they are prequels but they are made with the mind-set that the audience has always seen the previous movies. Imagine watching the prequels before star wars OT? it would spoil the darth vader reveal.
This is why whenever you do a marathon or whatever, you watch all of them in order of release first and then go back and watch them in chronological order at a later point
Thank god I saw this now, I’m currently re-watching it chronologically together with my GF who is watching it for the first time. But if we don’t watch the post credit scene we’re fine, right?
I’ve never understood why people who haven’t watched the films before would want to watch them chronologically. Release order is how they built the MCU!
Could be honestly better. Maybe people will think Clint actually is evil and they’ll hope to learn later what happened. Basically, the viewer is on the same level as Yelena
If you’re going to watch movies chronologically then the post credit scenes should be removed from their main films and inserted chronologically on their own.
Too much work? Then watch the fucking movies in release order!
Also, on Disney plus, Ant Man and the Wasp is placed before Infinity War in the “watch by chronological order” section. The end credit scene in Ant Man spoils the Thanos snap.
Captain Marvel post credit scene: “hello”
So many people were let down when they realized they left the theater before the post credit scene.
I tell people the same thing I do for Star Wars – watch in release order before chronological.
Me waiting for the X-men to pull up on thanos.
Why would you watch it in chronological order on your first watch?
yeah but imagine what an awesome cliff hanger that would be

Speaking of that, why does she have such a tiny grave and not a fucking monument? She sacrificed herself to save half of all life
That’s why you watch in release order.
this is why you never watch chronologically for your first time
Captain Marvel and Ant-Man & The Wasp credit scenes as well
Chronological is great for a 2nd viewing but I recommend release order for a first time viewing to not potentially spoil anything
I think it makes Infinity War & Endgame better.

Release Order > Chronological Order.
The only proper viewing order for the first watch is release order. Chronological is good for rewatch only.
Just watch that 50 hour chronological fan edit from yesterday
That one pissed my wife off something fierce. She hasn’t seen Endgame.
Hey this is technically a spoiler for others that havent seen the movie yet.

…is it bad that I never even thought of watching the MCU movies chronologically??
I just watched it last night. I honestly thought, “did she fake her own death?” Then remembered End Game.

I I just want to see Hulk try and do anal after Black Widow has eaten a triple steak buffet six course dinner with laxatives.
Lol I completely forgot about that
Actually could you have imagined if we got that in order. So many questions!
It’s perfectly fine. The forwshadowing really makes it great.
Like Cpt Marvel in Infinity War or Thanos in Avengers.
Knowing something will happen does not mean it’s ruined.
Just because you know something is going to happen doesn’t spoil how it happens. The how is as important as the what.
And some times the realization of “this is the moment” is as amazing a feeling of surprise.
Also, Big Fish.

If they were watching in chronological, they would stop before the end credits and then watch that when they get up to it; post Endgame.
Yeah, but it’s Marvel. She could die like 6-8 times. We saw Nick Fury’s grave, too.
Captain Marvel post-credits
It’s gotta be by release date!!!
I read “whoopsie” in Ryan George voice

This one took me a second

Honestly that would make me interested in what happened between her and Hawkeye
I missed that part….
Fucking…. Throws the entire continuity out of whack.
