Loid sometimes gets behind the ball, such is the problem with needing cover and to be reactionary to certain types of problems. Tho, I kinda like he’s fitted in combat gear, man was ready to go full KSK for Anya.
Had the others not been there in time, he’s set for an excellent backup plan.
As much as I love Loid, and as much as I understand how much he suppressed his own feelings and buries it all under “for the mission,” it’s been really funny seeing the spectrum of reactions to his (lack of) reaction. More than a few people have roasted him for trying too hard to seem aloof and I’m at least a little inclined to agree.
I really wish we get to see Loid’s and Yor’s POV on this. Yor was probably running around town in a panic looking for Anya, and Loid was desperately looking to find them a way out without causing casualties.
Anya was very brave in this whole ordeal, but she is still just a child and is in need of her parents protection. That’s why she broke down at end 😭 ♥
