Something about this story always stuck with me. I didn’t particularly think it was a masterpiece or a story that’s on par with some of the darker reads I have spent time on(Mostly due to it being a oneshot). But what it did was changed the way I thought about things and gave me a completely new perspective on evil and innocent and how they play off of each other wether it’s being overly ironic or outright insane it seems to make sense. Along with showing the dangers in people you would never expect to be dangerous and how happiness isn’t always living in peace. For these reasons I think it is a very important read it’s short and changes the way you view people and life as a whole. (At least that’s how I saw it)

Jeong Ji-Hun, the Author of The Horizon, Mosquito Wars, and The Boxer is really loves slipping depressing story-telling in all his works!
