I just discovered this brilliant slice of life manga recently and this particular scene hit me hard because I realised he was speaking the truth which the world doesn’t agree with.
How many of us try our darn best at love, life, work, etc but it just didn’t turn out well? Not for lack of trying or effort or hard work, but sometimes it’s just a consequence of life and its shitty circumstances. It does NOT mean we are losers.
I also read it pretty recently, and I actually made a post on the sub about it. it’s one of my favorite manga series I’ve read
Hope this manga goes viral. The artstyle and the story are so comfy. Having a chill anime adaptation would be pretty cool.
This is like the opposite of isekai escapism.
I’ve seen this manga pop up a lot lately, but I decided to start reading it after this post and damn… In the first chapter, when the MC hugs the granny I was crying.

By any chance, is the title of the post the same with the title of the manga? I initially thought that the title only quoted the page of the manga.

Keigo Shinzo is one of the best around today. I’m glad this is getting actively translated and Tokyo Alien Brothers just got finished not too long ago as well. Now someone just needs to pick up and finish Nora to Zassou.
