Also, it may seem like an ass-pull but the apothecary went on a legit adventure a few pages earlier to collect Mandragora and kill a bear-sized spider for this to work, but it’s glossed over to keep the focus on the elf’s health/status.
I like how he doesn’t know how something happened with the drug that he gave her despite the only thing we know about him being a person who prescribed drugs with specific effects.

Personally I find the act of healing and journey of recovery here to be incredibly cathartic. As I know what it feels to suffer from chronic debilitating illness. If you think I’m some kind of sicko who gets off on seeing untold horrors being committed to innocents then idk what drugs you’re on but you should probably stop.

It’ll end up being generic, “you saved me so now I love you unconditionally, I’ll stay with you forever.” Situation most likely though.

Honestly if she just forgets all the bad things that had happen to her I’ll be really mad. The whole point of the story is that the guy is taking a physically and mentally broken girl and is helping her recover, even if it’s difficult and takes a lot of time. If she is gonna forget everything might as well eat some random thing from the floor and get her body fully healed and end the series next chapter. I really wanted to see a slow progression…
