I was rewatching “3:10 to Yuma” with my sister who had never seen it before. It’s a Western where Christian Bale’s character has a really hard time arresting Russel Crowe’s character. I thought of the pun right at the beginning of this rewatch and knew just where to put it, but it was right before the very ending. I held on to that garbage pun the whole movie until Christian Bale’s final push to arrest Russel Crowe where he’s super injured and really suffering. I finally said “He should make like a Christian and Bail” (in reference to giving up) as if I just thought of it.
My sister was mildly impressed, so… I think that makes me a hero
