The real question is if you’re going for an “almost normal” name or a “weird as sht” name. Japanese names would certainly come off as weird in countries other than Japan, even though they’re technically normal names (I think). Especially if you’re not asian (but I have literally no idea your exact situation lol).
Personally, I could never take a name from a show, I’d be stuck only being able to think of the name in the context of the show and would feel like I was cosplaying or smth lmao
