God reading this interview was absolutely awful, not an experience I would ever want to have again
It’s fun to think of the characters as gay, or to say that they’re pretty open and not written in a way where their masculinity hinders them from showing any kind of emotion, but this interviewer definitely took his little headcanon too far

It’s undeniable to me that Pucci & DIO have gay undertones (hell, OVERTONES) but I would never like… ask Araki? I don’t really need that kinda affirmation/deconfirmation.
Ultimately though I find it pretty funny that Araki’s answer beyond the discomfort was “so boys kinda just crash at each others’ places.”

if you read the rest of the interview he admits “well, maybe i had intended something like that. also, Dio is definitely bisexual”.
