If they do I help, if not I skip the helping step and ask
“Can i have your ____”
If they say no I leave, but most of the time they say yes.
Most Hu Taos ive met dont even ask. They just teleport to Wangshu Inn and try to take them.
Mine is just –
2nd Player: “Need any help?”
Me: “Not really…”
2nd player: “Okay!” **proceeds to do all the bosses in my world**
I experienced the expectations just 2 hours ago my dude.
The reality never really happened to me.
I am like P1 and P2 in ‘expectations’, and it usually goes like this:
1. ask if they need help
2. If they do, help them, else, ask for what you need.
3. If they accept, take items, else, leave.
4. After taking items, have a wholesome chat. If they continue to talk, reply. Else, leave.
5. Ask if you can send a friend request. If they accept, send, else, leave.
6. Say goodbye. Thank them for the nice experience and leave.
I am in the Asia server, and I haven’t had a time that wasn’t like this. Even when someone asked for something like in the ‘Reality’, it still ends like in the ‘expectations’.
I try to be nice whenever I need something from someone’s world, usually though it’s obvious they are not really up for a chat.
Speaking of which, the EU server is slowly turning into a Russian server at this point. While I understand Russian myself, I still find it kinda annoying when people don’t even try talking in English. This is an EU server for a reason you know. Especially hate it when I ask or say something in English and get laughed at or insulted in Russian. And unfortunately this happens more than I’d like it to.
Then I have no choice but to bust out my Russian and suddenly whoa, someone doesn’t want to be a fucking dick anymore when the recipient can understand it huh?
This of course does not apply to all the Russian players, but at least a significant portion of them.
I’m playing on EU server everyone so far is really nice but sooo many people don’t know english at all and about 70% of people that could were not very great at it well atleast in my experience
Over here in the EU server I get the expectation one most of the time, rest of the time we don’t speak the same language haha.
My co-op experience-
Someone’s signature- NEED HELP PLS JOIN!!!!
Ok let’s help this guy out and sends join request *immediately declines request*
Happened like 4 out of 5times.

The first paet happen to me morw time then not. I usually let people farm off my world.
meanwhile, most of my co-op sessions are quite wholesome. We basically whoop bosses with idiotic teams & chat. Really fun.
people be having signatures like “i need help” and then decline or kick me out
And then there’s me who sends join requests to the entire list so I can enter someone’s world and be aggressively helpful just because I wanted to play in co-op.
My sister has a mutual friend who goes around helping everyone with their commissions and bosses because he likes flexing on them. At this point, he just logs in her world and she simply tells him, “Do commission.” Without a word, he goes and does it. Funny shit.
Huh… it’s actually reverse situation for me. Maybe because i’m mostly the helper in co-op. No one tried to steal some stuff in my world.
