I have a buddy that has purchased 5 so far. He keeps tabs on the restock twitter pages and buys buys just to see if he can. He sells them to people for what he paid though. Not doing it as a cash grab. He’s also the guy I bought my series x from.
My wife and I were both lucky enough to get one in the last 3 months. But it took us signing up for an app called Hot Stock and paying for the subscription to get early notice of stock replenishments. Even with that it took us over a month to get the first one and another 5 weeks to get the second. Shit isn’t easy even when determined.
Luckily I have a boss that understands the struggle and gave me 0 shit for literally sitting at work a few times a week and hitting the refresh button a billion times trying to snag them.
I owned 2 in February, got lucky and wanted to make sure it would actually make it here so I got another just in case, kept the disk version and sold the digital for a few extra bucks
I think it was actually easier to pre-order PS5’s last year. I managed to pre-order two from Best Buy, kept one and gave one to my sister for Christmas. I tried getting another one all year for my uncle but I was never able to even get one in the cart. The bots have gotten so much worse.
