Just playing this for the first time ever actually and gotta say it looks amazing, you can tell the gameplay isn’t new but they updated the graphics so much it could pass as a brand new release almost
The other “Definitive Editions” or “Remasters” of the Mafia franchise are broken garbage too though.
Mafia 2 Definitive Edition is arguably in worse shape than the gta definitive edition. Falling through map, large holes in map, AI glitches, entire chunks of map missing, the lot. Entertaining for streamers though.
My biggest complaint about rockstar games especially rdr2 is that whenever you finish a mission the pacing grinds to a hault as you are forced to mash a for 5 minutes to get to the next mission. It’s so nice to just be able to play the missions and the free roam separately in mafia.

Underrated, gorgeous game
Gears Of War Ultimate Edition is also such a great option if you are looking for a good remaster.
I figured either Mafia or LA Noire. Is the LA Noire release on switch any good? They still want quite a bit for it even on sale.
