For anyone that’s likes romance and fantasy books this series is one I would recommend. I have read ever book in this series that has been released so far(18). It’s a great easy read. And if you don’t think its your cup of tea just don’t read it. I don’t understand the point of saying they aren’t meant to be an author when obviously people have read their work and enjoyed.
If this is a real book…I want to read it. I’m nearly done with the last book of the Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks (Fantastic series by a fantastic author) and would love something to read now that I’m out of books to read by Brent.

Or at least you used to be able to. This may be why USA Today excluded self-published ebooks from their bestseller lists.
This is… kind of tame for the Urban Magic book genre. The alpaca is a little weird, but the rest of it is always like “Dani thought she was normal, but one day finds out she’s the descendent of the Queen of the Fae with a destiny all her own! With the help of a werewolf, a half-gnome berserker and an intelligent mouse, she’ll do everything she can to reclaim her life and save the world in the process”
My dream is to be an author..to write something maybe not the next great American novel but something a lot of people can enjoy and get something out of
Then I see this ….
*I’d never be able to write something as glorious as this*
I’m going to have to say “bravo to this person who actually wrote a book” while I sit here thinking about starting someday maybe, but being “too busy” or afraid my idea isn’t original enough. How many humans have written a published book in the span of our race? This author is in a pretty elite club that I have no business criticizing.
Pretty sure I saw that cover art airbrushed on the side of a Dodge conversion van back in the 80’s. There may have been a wolf howling at the moon, too.
I was reading this thinking “another YA novel with vampires and werewolves. Just what we need” Then they got me with the alpaca sidekick. I’m 100% in!
Writing definitely isn’t for everyone. I know I could never write anything nearly as good as this.
I mean, I am intrigued. I would pick it up and read a few pages.
“We forced an AI to read 10,000 sci fi and romance novels and then write a book…”
But they sure as hell are ment to be, that description is absolutely flawless. I wanna know what happens.
“a magical romantic comedy (with a body count)”
I don’t know, this seems like a pretty GOOD read
We can’t all be Chuck Tingle
That old tale again. If you’ve seen it once, you’ve seen it a thousand times. Where did all of the “original” stories go?

Finds romance with an alpaca?
Whose bed have your hooves been under?
But alpacas don’t have hooves!
I think it’s funny that you said “not everyone is meant to be an author” about an author that’s closing in on her 50th published book.
I kind of want to read it

So the ratings / reviews of the book are really high! 4.5/5 5/5 . I’m a read it.
I want to hear more about the inexplicalpaca though…

NGL I’d read it.
That is probably the best read you’ll ever pick up.
Don’t judge a book by its cover
See? I keep telling you guys the pot has gotten too strong.
So it’s like the tv series Being Human. Plus an alpaca. I am in!
Unexplicable alpaca sidekick? Son of a bitch, I’m in.
Why do I feel like this was written by Shia LaBeouf ?
Son of a werewolf and a witch partners up with Taylor Lautner. Bah, where do I watch the movie adaptation? I’m in.
Tell me your parents bought your way into college without telling me your parents bought your way into college
I think it sounds awesome.
I mean how did Twilight even sell, what was the premise? Boringly average girl with nothing to offer the world gets knocked up by a vampire?
This sounds like a plot to some show on interdimensional cable from Rick and Morty.
This book’s description has more buzzwords than an IT job posting.

Shit, I should write this stuff.
‘USA Today bestselling author…’
Really? They have authors?
I love urban fantasy, this sounds like my thing, really curious about the llama.
Ain’t worth spit?
Algorithmically generated urban fantasy.
Damnit even a half werewolf half witch moving to a new city can find love faster than me
Dammit. Came prepared to laugh but then got hooked by the alpaca. Going to get the book now. Sigh.
Says right there he’s a best selling author, don’t question it.
Excuse me a child of a werewolf and a witch sounds op I’m some ways. This whole story seems wack
And then again some are born for only one thing.

Just checked it out as a e-book from the library. We live in an age of wonders. USE THE LIBRARY!

Well, I actually disagree with OP – there’s nothing wrong with ANYONE or EVERYONE being an author…
…I think the issue here is “not every author should get *published*”.
He had me at alpaca.
Hay, I don’t know. Maybe it’s brilliant.
Pretty sure I saw that cover art airbrushed on the side of a Dodge conversion van back in the 80’s. There may have been a wolf howling at the moon, too.
Yeah, some people aren’t meant to be authors. You, probably.
RJ Blain on the other hand manages a 4.28/5 out of 34,108 goodreads reviews. She’s probably chosen the right job for herself.
