It’s sadly an issue some DM’s have. They have this mentality that there should be a cost to EVERYTHING so they do something like a time crunch where you can only do one of three missions and no matter which one you pick you know that you failed because the other two missions didn’t get completed and now you suffer the consequences of that. So of course the party is gonna grind to a halt with decision paralysis
