  1. My dad was a programmer for 40 years, I understand virtual tabletop to the level of the code, but I keep a 45 magnum next to my printer just in case it makes a noise I don’t recognize

Tech is fun, but it always fucks up, analog is always better

  2. Love pen and paper, but I will say online makes managing spells significantly easier, especially if you’re like me and have shitty handwriting so sometimes a 4 could be a 9 and a 9 could be a 4. Going through multiple books to check just makes turns take forever.

I will never give up my clicky clack rocks though. Those must be pried from my cold, dead hands

  3. Not to be that guy, but what about the app for phones?

I use that every time i play, altough i use my box of clicaty cracky clacks.

  4. I like having the best of both worlds, I always have my characters in dndbeyond and on paper. Dndbeyond for the ease of creating a character, management, leveling up and checking things. Paper for playing itself.

  5. am i the only one that if i use a digital anything for something like dnd i make DAMN SURE that i’m in the 90% or higher when dnd starts?
