Anyone else see MPU as the sixth member of the Bebop crew, even though he doesn’t appear for the rest of the series? I mean he’s in Ed’s brain, or more realistically, her computer, ain’t he? DISCUSSION
If I remember correctly Ed’s glasses flash as they try to collect MPU from the satellite. I looked at that scene as a lack of success, meaning MPU was erased. I don’t think MPU is mentioned after that episode. Again, if I remember correctly.

I don’t, because they are never story-important outside of their episode.
