  1. I love the fact that no matter what writers will always make Zatanna and Bruce be childhood friends through their parents and they trust eachother with their secret identities (Except in Young Justice)

  2. I see people complaining about this scene but I think it’s cool. It doesn’t feel forced as it was a meeting between both Leagues and Batman stood up for Zatanna because he’s her friend. It’s a Batwank moment, sure but a rare good one.

  3. Tbh this scene annoyed me. JLD is one of the few teams to not be centered around Batman or one of his kids, yet DC *still* wasted a whole page of it to remind everyone on *how cool Batman is!*.

  4. Batman and Etrigan had already fought in Batman: The Widening Gyre before this was printed.

The result? >!Batman is beaten to a bloody pulp in a few pages, and saved by a third party. Not surprising, but funny in light of this exchange.!<

  5. Stuff like this are just dumb. Batman trying to Intimidate people who could kill him in a second and finishing off his threat with “I’m batman” just comes off as a fanboy jerking off his favorite character which is just cringy

  6. i’M bAtMaN

    Real top notch writing there.

I hate that the Batman is better than everyone meme has transcended back into the comics. I used to enjoy this character so much, but now this type of writing makes me cringe. It is cringey.

  7. Annoying. Why is Batman everywhere? I love him, but this isn’t really the place for him to be. Zatanna, Constantine, Etrigan, Xanadu; they are their own characters. Batman does not need to be honed in.

  8. Demons should be smarter, magical beings are prone to bad things happening with just a few words said the right way.

In magic, knowledge is power. To summon and bind a Rhymer is possible and Batman could make it happen
