There was roughly two years of publishing between Metal ending and Death Metal starting. There no Death Metal material in the Metal collections.
There is a couple years worth of Justice League issues that bridge the Metal events.
I’m not sure if this is just an expansion on the existing collected edition of Metal or if it goes past the original Metal storyline to loop in Death Metal and the issues leading up to it. I know there had been a decent amount of demand for something collecting the issues leading up to Death Metal.
