  1. Lee is probably the objective choice. More experience in the industry, stronger storytelling, tighter proportions with his figure work, however stylized. He also has a sharper eye for drawing the definitive “look” of a character.

But personally I prefer Fabok. I feel like he’s Finch without the flaws (very strong faces, better grasp of anatomy).

  2. Fabok (like a thousand others) aped Jim Lee and George Perez. Jim Lee’s right up there with Jack Kirby as far as influence on the industry goes, and Perez isn’t far behind. Fabok’s not a bad artist by any stretch of the imagination, but let’s not pretend he’s doing anything patently original.

    The answer’s Jim Lee.

  3. I love, love, love Fabok’s work. At the same time, I could never pinpoint something that was missing in the art. During Three Jokers, I realized his problem.: his artwork doesn’t “move” in terms of storytelling. It is very static.

Jim Lee, on the other hand, has an incredibly dynamic style that conveys motion and energy. I think it is a major part if why he was so beloved throughout the 90s.

  4. Fabok definitely has his strengths, especially when it comes to faces which can really make or break a comic’s art quality, but Lee’s art is so incredibly dynamic, and it always has this timeless feeling to it

  5. I liked Lee in the 90s and early 2000s but lately, his art is just not for my taste, fabok today has amazing art (love the art on darkseid war) but it doesn’t fitt every story and so I don’t know, I guess 90s Jim Lee
