Lee is probably the objective choice. More experience in the industry, stronger storytelling, tighter proportions with his figure work, however stylized. He also has a sharper eye for drawing the definitive “look” of a character.
But personally I prefer Fabok. I feel like he’s Finch without the flaws (very strong faces, better grasp of anatomy).
Fabok (like a thousand others) aped Jim Lee and George Perez. Jim Lee’s right up there with Jack Kirby as far as influence on the industry goes, and Perez isn’t far behind. Fabok’s not a bad artist by any stretch of the imagination, but let’s not pretend he’s doing anything patently original.
I love, love, love Fabok’s work. At the same time, I could never pinpoint something that was missing in the art. During Three Jokers, I realized his problem.: his artwork doesn’t “move” in terms of storytelling. It is very static.
Jim Lee, on the other hand, has an incredibly dynamic style that conveys motion and energy. I think it is a major part if why he was so beloved throughout the 90s.
Fabok definitely has his strengths, especially when it comes to faces which can really make or break a comic’s art quality, but Lee’s art is so incredibly dynamic, and it always has this timeless feeling to it
I liked Lee in the 90s and early 2000s but lately, his art is just not for my taste, fabok today has amazing art (love the art on darkseid war) but it doesn’t fitt every story and so I don’t know, I guess 90s Jim Lee
Why we gotta choose?
From that picture Fabok but overall Jim Lee. He’s definitely got better drawings of those 2 than that.

Lee.
He makes everything awesome
Hush was just THAT good because of his talent.
Really, really close .. but its Jim Lee, imo
why not both
Currently? Fabok, no contest. But no one couldn’t even touch Lee on his prime
Jose Luis García López
Fabok, always love his work
Jason. 10 years ago I’d of said Lee is more stylistic. Not so much now.
Fabok, dude makes nearly every scene he draws look like an opera turned into an illustration and I love it.

The answer’s Jim Lee.

Big fan of both…but Fabok takes it.
Jim Lee. Always.
Other than Lee, Whilce Portacio has always been another favorite of mine.
Personally i like Fabok more
Gary Frank
90s Jim Lee and current Jason Fabok
Fabok
Peak Lee, current Fabok.
90s-mid 2000s Jim Lee was a different beast altogether.
How dare you even ask this question! Jim Lee all the damn way, although this is not the best of his work you’re showing here. Lee is an icon!
I got into comics with Jim Lee art, so nostalgia says Lee….
Overall influence and body of work, Jim Lee. He largely defined artwork in superhero comics for over two decades.
There are a lot of great cb artists, but for me Jim Lee is the GOAT.
Jim, he’s a once in a lifetime talent.
You misspelled John Byrne
There are details in both that I like. It hard to choose. I think im leaning more towards the left whichever one that is.
Jason

Jim Lee. No doubt. It’s just iconic how he draws Supes.
Enjoy both but I’d lean Jason especially his version of Batman is arguably my faveourite or top 3 anyway
Fabok. Whatever I used to like about Jim Lee, it’s not there anymore, at least in recent years.
I refuse to choose.
But Jim Lee. Not his best representation here though.
Between these two pics? Lee.
But that’s because I prefer the coloring and lack of muscles under fabric.
I liked Lee in the 90s and early 2000s but lately, his art is just not for my taste, fabok today has amazing art (love the art on darkseid war) but it doesn’t fitt every story and so I don’t know, I guess 90s Jim Lee
Honestly I can barely tell the difference between them. They’re both great
If you’re making me choose: Jim Lee.
Jim Lee for Superman, Jason Fabok for batman, both goated but I just prefer these in their own ways
I feel blasphemous saying this, but I think I might prefer Fabok at this point.
That being said, without Lee, there is no Fabok (or a million other good, similar artists).
Jim Lee circa 1993 is, to me, the gold standard. He’s still an amazing artist, but I miss that heavy touch.
Jim Lee
Jason is great but having grown up with Jim Lee, my vote is for him.
Neither is better. Just different. Both are good.
Jason Fabok no contest. Jim Lee is so overrated.
Judging from this, Lee. Fabok’s proportions on Superman are way off. Those legs are far too long.
Faboks women are hot
you cant really compare artists its like comparing apples and oranges
