James Wan wasn’t a coward. Gave him the big backyard grill helmet and everything! Love when you get super faithful costumes in the movies, feel like too often it’s some faded jumpsuit that vaugely shares the character’s colors or something. Fingers crossed they don’t ruin Kirby’s designs if we get that fourth world movie.
I don’t know why but a lot of costumes that look awesome in comic books / animation, don’t look great in real life… It just makes it look like an adult is playing Halloween and makes it hard to take the person seriously.
This seems to be better than most so we’ll have to see.

The Black Manta costume in Aquaman was the best thing about the movie. I had a moment of nerd glee when I first saw that.
