Don’t Be Late, Legoshi! [ktandoku]

I like that in spite of this, she almost certainly made sure he had some breakfast first. As always, Ktandoku just does the best art for them.

Haru: “Come on! I’m thrilled you like the toast, but we’ve gotta get moving!”

*Still sleepy, but snapping to as Haru nearly trips*

Legoshi: “Sorry about this, Haru…” *swoops her up*

*They arrive in the nick of time, as Legoshi quickly ducks into an alley and sets her down*

Haru, *blushing*: “Maybe we should be late more often?”

Legoshi: “I’m just lucky I stayed fit!”

Haru, *sulking in resignation*: “I know you aren’t really a morning person, Legoshi… but we still always seem to leave late… don’t you watch the time?”

Legoshi, *looking away*: “Well… I do… but once you’re there, I don’t like watching the clock… it always makes me feel down…” *he offers a small smile, crouching as he tries to avoid looking too conscientious* “the hands moving just means less time with you… and that’s what I care about.”

Haru: “Do you actually know how difficult you make it to be annoyed at you?”

Legoshi: “A little. We should probably head in.”

Haru: “I’m surprised you came along, it’s just a speaker talking about horticulture…”

Legoshi: “But you’d have to sit next to me, right?”

Haru: “Don’t tell me-” *violent blushing* “You planned that? The seats run out when you’re last to arrive…”

Legoshi: *sly smile*

Haru, *thinking, before flashing him a smile*: “Eh, it’s just going to be two hours of stuffy posturing anyway. Let’s go shopping and get a meal.”

Legoshi: “You’re sure?”

Haru: “Of course. You’ll still be right next to me, after all.”

Legoshi: “I won’t be keeping track of time, though.”

Haru, *happy smirk, ironic sarcasm*: “Oh no! We might get back late!”
