They should have had Reiner state the curse was broken, the Marleyans would have no reason to question one of the Warrior unit, plus you had Pieck and Falco there to back up the claims. They’d be considered heroes.
one of my least favorite parts about the ending, it makes absolutely zero sense. Ingrained racism against these people completely overturned just by Armin saying “I’m not transforming right now (even though doing so would also kill all of my friends around me) so you must believe me that titan powers are gone!!!”
