I personally think anime onlies will be more open to the ending. Maybe not enjoy it but definitely won’t be as affected as manga readers. They didn’t experience the story as continuously as anyone reading it monthly- whereby it was more relevant to our lives.
To them its just watch it when it airs and forget about it until the next season.
