nah, it could have been a pretty good ending with the Alliance winning. It could’ve also been a good ending if Eren won (though I personally don’t like tragic endings in stories this long). It just wasn’t, Isayama just fucked up man
Let’s be completely honest here though, going from Pure Titans being such a threat that seasoned veterans are killed by them still and Titan Shifters being too much for an entire legion to handle sometimes to 10 people being able to take on hundreds of Titan Shifters at once is comparable to going from Vegeta with a power level of 18000 being the big bad to Frieza with a power level of 120000000 being the big bad.
Don’t put the ending on us fans of the Alliance. There’s plenty of ways they could have lost and it still would have been a good ending. What we got is a cheap victory that’s unsatisfying for people rooting for the Alliance and an outcome for Eren that those rooting for him obviously hate.
