Wow dude. I know the hair is the focal point, and it is incredible…but the *water* ! I’ve never seen water captured so realistically. I’m literally in awe right now.
All your pieces are technically astoundingly good – they’re incredible demonstrations of skill, talent, practice, astute observation, attention to detail, and patience! But if you don’t mind me asking, what do you get out of it artistically? Does it feel at all limiting to your artistic expression and creativity, when you make hyperrealist pieces like these?
You are very talented. It honestly looks like a picture someone took. Even after reading through everything its hard to see this as a painting. Incredible job.
Yeah, I took a photo and reproduced it, and added nothing, and after painful and artless work my painting looks just like a photo, and on internet no one would tell the difference between this and a photoshop filter, but even so what would be the point but eh I’m great for this ‘performance’ so then, uh, eh, hooray ?
I am flabbergasted! It is so realistic that my brain just can’t believe it’s not a photograph! You are the most talented artist I have ever seen and should have your paintings in the Louve or NY museum of art and not on Reddit ! But thanks for posting on Reddit ???????? How else can is everyday people view such a masterpiece ! Amazing , Bravo ! Magnificent ! ❤️
God your paintings are all so so so good. Just as a texture and light study it’s absurd—but it not *just* technical. The photography you’re doing is nuts too.
I don’t know what your personal philosophy and concept is of your work, but to me the precision and technicality of the *process* seems really opposed to the subject matter. So the juxtaposition of surgical accuracy and sensuality and serenity seems very clever, and it makes the pieces really striking. Water and femininity are soft, and organic. The work is procedural and intense. God I just love it.
What I love the most and what makes it look so real is the hair. The hair looks so realistic. I’ve seen paintings with people that are in water and their hair is perfectly slick back. But in your painting it really looks like a real persons hair after coming up from swimming…Sorta tangled and tousled a bit.
If we ever run out of electricity you can make photos for the world

Fuck off ! Ohly shit that’s fucking good
I got confused because I literally thought this was a photo until I zoomed in. Amazing! You’re very talented.
Could not pick up my jaw for a solid 10 seconds, amazing work!
Gorgeous work. Your technical skill is astounding. How long did this take you?

How large is the canvas? Do you have any pictures of it on the easel and/or with borders? I’d love to get a feel for the size.
Me:
“You took a photo of the back of your head? What’s the point of that?”
Me like 3 seconds later:
###**FUCK ME. THAT’S NOT A PHOTO.**
It’s always amazing how the eye can fill in details, but holy crap this got me good and proper! Love it!
Dude, you’re insanely talented. Your paintings fuck with my brain.
Beyond the incredible rendering of the hair and water is the totally natural looking shallow depth of field.
You are very talented. It honestly looks like a picture someone took. Even after reading through everything its hard to see this as a painting. Incredible job.
This looks more realistic than life
Do you “systematically” paint water waves or just randomly/chaotically paint them since they’re turbulent anyway ??

I wonder why there’s no really old paintings of people with this level of realism
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA so good

Genuinely at awe man. Good luck with future works!
Shit, it looked like a picture until i zoomed in. And still did after I zoomed. Took me a few seconds!

Nah it can’t be a painting…
Zooms in….
Nah it can’t be a painting…
This is one of the best pieces of art I’ve ever seen
I just sat here and said “are you fucking kidding me” over and over. This is INSANE!!!!!!!!
Camera companies hate this guy for this reason. Click here to find out.
Dude, get fucking lost. This shit is way too good. I hate myself.
I can only tell it’s a painting when zooming in…a lot. Bravo!
What’s crazy is that it’s obviously a painting if you zoom in.

Do you look at a photo when you draw or does someone model for you?
Well now you’re just showing off
You are photographer. Those single strands of hair on top of the streamlined bunch are so accurate. Mesmerizing.
Wait this is a photo my mind is literally blown
The 10k like! Nice painting !
Whoa. I can *feel* and *hear* the water moving… this is amazing detail! ????
What are the dimensions of the canvas?
I thought it was a photo??? You are so talented omg keep up the good work!!!
Sooo good! I had to really zoom in to prove it wasn’t a photo!
Is there a photo reference you use? Would love to see it side by side
THEY CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
Ah this one you can tell in the hair it’s a painting, that other one you did was impossible, at least now we have evidence ahahahaha

Do you look at a reference photo while painting? Or do you paint by memory?
Less photorealistic than your previous work, but obviously still godlike…
Is there a piece of critical art theory that explains why nobody was painting like this 300 years ago using the same medium?
Zoom in and it’s a painting. Zoom out and it’s a picture, it has to be something in-between.
